The first EVENTS
In 2019, we will organize the first events under the name EXC Events. The Harder.Better.Faster has been around for a while in Lüneburg. Generation Z is the first event.
No office yet, but a huge team that has always supported us in the background.
2020
Corona & FIRST OFFICE
EXC grows despite pandemic
The year 2020 changed the world. Everything came to a standstill. Corona is the reason why events can no longer take place. For us, the starting signal for new business areas. We produced a LIVE SET from the Lüneburg water tower and collected donations for a good cause. Even more important for us and the development of the company, however, was the first office in the center of Lüneburg. 15 m2, our first creative workshop.
2021
EXC EVENTS GMBH
EXC Events becomes a company
On May 26, 2021, the time had finally come. EXC Events GmbH was entered in the commercial register. Now the project became a business. From now on, we will operate everywhere as a GmbH. A big step for us.
We also experienced a lot outside of the office in 2021. On 04.04.2021, we transformed Lüneburg's town hall square into a sea of lights and released our second major donation video. The reach in our hometown was huge. Many thanks to over 23K views.
The Castle Beats Festival was the first event that we organized outside of Lüneburg and then 600 kilometers away.
The premiere at Rheinfels Castle couldn't have gone better - 500 people. Sold out.
2022
TEAM GROWTH
The first employees
In January 2022, the team was expanded and we were able to celebrate our first permanent hire. Only a few months later, more people joined the team. No one would have expected the growth. However, a larger team naturally means more desks and our office was too small for that. Then, in May 2022, we moved. We found the office of our dreams.
The events got bigger and bigger and our sphere of influence became wider and wider. With Generation 2000 we were in a total of 13 cities, in Bardowick we launched a new open air festival, the Castle Beats Festival went into its second round from 500 to 1500 people.
Last but not least, we were finally able to welcome back our flagship after a 2-year wait: Harder.Better.Faster is back. Bigger than ever before. 2200 people celebrate in the sold-out LKH Arena.
2023
EXC EVENTS GMBH

2023 was a year of change for EXC Events. We withdrew from many cities and closed business units. However, this is by no means a negative development for us. From now on, we want to focus more intensively on existing and, above all, larger projects and grow. We are underlining this with the personnel development of welcoming Jonas as our first trainee.
Despite all this, we have again organized many events this year. For some event series, we started the second year for the first time. New brands were launched: Malle Cup, Bass & Beer Festival.
EXC Events has been part of Lüneburg's history since 2023. We were part of the city festival.
2024
FROM THE PROVINCE TO THE CITY
EXC Events expands nationally
In May 2024, EXC Events will start its fourth financial year. The planning has been completed and the team is in place. A total of 30 events with over 40 thousand guests throughout Germany are on the agenda. EXC Events will expand and adapt existing concepts and bring new ideas to the market. For the first time, there will be seated events.
